Pradeep Varadaraja Banavara, also known as pradeepbv.eth, is a seasoned engineer, entrepreneur, and executive with over 20 years of experience in building and scaling platforms, products, and organizations. Currently serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at nsrcel, Pradeep is passionate about building products that customers love, teams swear by, and businesses cannot live without. Pradeep's expertise lies in bridging the gap between web3 and web2, empowering individuals through web3 technology. He believes that web3 is far from being as usable as web2 and is committed to making it more accessible and user-friendly at Obvious, where he is building a Crypto Super Wallet. Throughout his career, Pradeep has worked in government, academia, startups, and multinational corporations with experience across education, mapping, consumer internet, real estate, e-commerce, mobility, and deliveries. He has built, scaled, and managed high-performance cross-functional teams spanning multiple geographies, cultures, languages, and time zones. He has also led successful fundraising efforts, negotiated business acquisitions, and put together joint ventures while managing multi-million dollar P&Ls. Pradeep has advised several early-stage startups, including Akiro, Bhuh Pramaan, Cunomial, Gigsy, NextBillion AI, and Veloscope. He has also served as the Head of Product, Geo at Grab. Pradeep holds a degree in Electronics and Communication from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, and an Executive General Management Program degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He attended Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala, Mysore, for his pre-university and secondary education. Pradeep's tech stack includes web3, AI, and product management.
